My First Of Many Diptyque Candles

On  a recent visit to Notting Hill, my friends and I came across the Diptyque store on Westbourne Grove.
After hearing so many bloggers raving about this Candle, I for one had to give it a try and see what the fuss what all about.

When we walked into the store, we were welcomed and surrounded by heavenly fragrances and were greeted by the most charming guide Adrian (he really knows his stuff), he was polite, patient and he listened to what I actually wanted rather than try and sell me something. At the end I didn’t even feel like I was buying a very expensive candle.

He suggested a few candles to try as a first time buyer and he let me decide and he waited patiently while i asked my friends which smell they preferred….at no point did I feel like an unwelcome guest (honestly, I think I stick out like a sore thumb when I visit some expensive stores…either the sales assistance is very very rude or something happens and I walk out without buying anything)

My visit to this store made me so very happy and this is by far the best shopping experience I have had in like forever.

And at the end after i had paid for my candle, my friends were also given some samples to test and the weirdness, funniest things happened my girlfriend tried on a the perfume sample she was given and loved it so much we walked back to the store and she bought it.

Because of the good first experience we had at this store, I will definitely be going back to buy more Diptyque goodies. Apart from candles and fragrances for men and women, Diptyque also have face & body care range.
