Bits and Bobs from H&M

By Posted on 0 Comments 1 min read 2 views

Hello and welcome! I hope you’re good today. I recently pop over to the H&M website to grab myself some much needed accessories for taking photos for my beauty/makeup products on here. I came across these beautiful copper products from their home and interior section. I am trying to revamp my room and I thought these items will add a bit of much needed glamour.

I think that H&M is one of the best places to look for inexpensive, expensive accessories for the home and I am now on the look out for more copper products to add to the stack.
I afraid these items are all sold out on the H&M UK website. There are some more copper pots on their website – link

My First Of Many Diptyque Candles

By Posted on 0 Comments 2 min read 2 views

On  a recent visit to Notting Hill, my friends and I came across the Diptyque store on Westbourne Grove.
After hearing so many bloggers raving about this Candle, I for one had to give it a try and see what the fuss what all about.

(New items for the Valentines Day – click here to see full range)

When we walked into the store, we were welcomed and surrounded by heavenly fragrances and were greeted by the most charming guide Adrian (he really knows his stuff), he was polite, patient and he listened to what I actually wanted rather than try and sell me something. At the end I didn’t even feel like I was buying a very expensive candle.

He suggested a few candles to try as a first time buyer and he let me decide and he waited patiently while i asked my friends which smell they preferred….at no point did I feel like an unwelcome guest (honestly, I think I stick out like a sore thumb when I visit some expensive stores…either the sales assistance is very very rude or something happens and I walk out without buying anything)

My visit to this store made me so very happy and this is by far the best shopping experience I have had in like forever.

And at the end after i had paid for my candle, my friends were also given some samples to test and the weirdness, funniest things happened my girlfriend tried on a the perfume sample she was given and loved it so much we walked back to the store and she bought it.

Because of the good first experience we had at this store, I will definitely be going back to buy more Diptyque goodies. Apart from candles and fragrances for men and women, Diptyque also have face & body care range.
