It’s almost the end of May, it can mean one thing… summer!! Here in England we are famous for our teas and our horrible unpredictable weather. So I feel like I always have to carry a jumper or a cardigan with me at all times. But when the weather is good.. it’s amazingly hot so hot and humid it’s sometimes very hard to breath fresh air. Even with all the things that comes out in the summer… it has to be one of my favourite seasons.

Summer is my time to have fun and forget about exams or thinking about going to lectures. Don’t get me wrong, I love doing my degree but it sucks not having time to have fun. This year has been the most trifling, i struggled so hard preparing for my exams and which is why I am so relived it’s all over.

I think that denim is one of those essentials which you can style with everything * what did people do before denim was invented lol*

The denim shirt is an essential for the summer, not forgetting the good old sunscreen, sunglasses and bikini (if you’re off to the beach or on holiday)

Below are some of the way I’ve styled my denim skirts for the summer.

I love finding shoes that’s a great all-rounder even if you’re on your feet all the time, it’s very comfortable; mine is my trusty suede old skool vans. Everyone needs that one pair of shoes that just fits you like a glove, goes with everything and it is very comfortable.

An accessory, let’s say a necklace, or sunglasses can bring the look together nicely. I’ve had these sunnies from Quay for a little while now. Don’t you think its add that extra voom to the look? When I bought it i thought it was a little too big for my face but I am loving it now that I have gotten used to having it.

Who doesn’t like a minimal necklace?? I have been wearing my RegalRose necklace non-stop recently. I have even featured them on my favourites a while back! I love RegalRose stuff, that’s one inexpensive jewelry site I’d live to go crazy one day and buy one of everything.

10 Full-Coverage Foundations For Oily/Combination Skin That Makes Skin Look Naturally Flawless

By Posted on 12 Comments 5 min read 1 views

Finding the perfect full-coverage foundation that’s great for oily/combination skin which you can also wear on those days when you’re looking for a natural look be it going to work or just going for dressed drown days.

I have tried quiet a few foundations, starting with M.A.C. Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and then moving on  Kat Von D Lock It Foundation my most used foundation ever. I struggled quiet  a lot to find the perfect shades when I first started, even having to buy two shades; one lighter and a much darker one and then having to mix them together to get my perfect shade. Here are 10 full-coverage foundations that I have tried and test which works really well even in oily/combination skin that makes your skin look naturally flawless.

This foundation has become my favourite foundation since I decided to use it last year.

This foundation is very buildable and can cover everything from those annoying pimples to hyper-pigmentation. It will mask any imperfections and you can wear this for up to 24 hours and it is waterproof as well so you can definitely wear this to the beach on your summer holiday or when you need a refreshing dip in the pool.

I also have a video on my YouTube channel with an in dept review of this foundation. I was super excited to have found it and couldn’t wait to share my thoughts with you.

Check out the video here!!

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Longwear Foundation

This foundation was the buzz of the year. It caused some much excited in the beauty world. Offering over 40 shades of pure goodness. Rihanna really did her research and waned to make sure everyone would be able to find their one true shade.

Got my hands on this beauty a little while ago because I couldn’t get my feet to the counter with all the buzz around it whenever I went to Harvey Nichols and I didn’t want to buy y shade online and then having the misfortune of getting the wrong shade.

Watch my latest video here and watch me get crazy happy applying it on my face.

Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation

This is the latest addition to the foundation collection. After trying this in the store. I decided to buy it and I am loving it. It is buildable and it lasts for ages. Its a foundation that tends to keep up with your hyper-activities throughout the day. And it is waterproof and has oil absorbing options. I pair this up with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray which is the dream team.

Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick

This might be one of the most pigmented foundation I have ever used. A little goes a long way – you can cover all your imperfections with just a less makeup. If you’re into your makeup looking really high coverage then this might be a very good contender. I haven’t tried using it to cover tattoos or any body art. It is the bomb to use for a full face no pores visible foundation. I have seen a few people using this as a concealer and they’ve said that it works well as a concealer as well. I use this foundation with Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer and setting it with the Kat Von D Setting Powder.

Too Faced – ‘Peach Perfect’ Comfort Matte Liquid Foundation

This is a great foundation for the summer. It is not cakey at all. I loved how naturally it can also look when I applied it sometimes – just a little less than my usual medium/full coverage. I love how matte it looks after applying it on my face. I use this with the Too Faced ‘Peach Perfect’ Mattfying Loose Setting Powder. A very comfortable all day wear foundation.

Diorskin Forever Perfect Foundation

You will love how dreamy it is working with this foundation. It is very creamy and covers your face in cushiony softness. It covers all my imperfections and its just as absolute dream to use.

This foundation is a little bit expensive so I tend to wear this on special occasions. I was quiet surprised that I was able to find my shade using just one bottle.

L’Oreal Infallible Total Coverage Foundation

This is the most inexpensive foundation of the lot. It covers most of . It doesn’t budge the entire time I wear it. I tend to use this with the Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Powder.

This foundation is very buildable which means that on the days when I need natural looking foundation, I can use it to create a much natural flawless foundation.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation

I first came across this foundation watching a favourite YouTuber. I decided to buy because she was always raving about how great it was to use. I must admit that she was right. The Tarte Amazonian Foundation is a matte high coverage long-wear foundation Although there aren’t that many dark skin shades, was able to find one that is the perfect shade for me by watching lots of YouTube videos and guessing the shade I was. Its oil free as well so great for those oily/combination skin. It is also buildable at least for me I find that i can build it up to the coverage I am feeling. It covers up all those imperfections you want covered up and its lasts for ages, doesn’t look cakey on me either.

DermaBlend Cover Creme

This is another foundation i discovered watching another YouTuber I follow who is American. I find that most of the American YouTubers get their hands on new products sooner than us in the UK especially, when it comes to new makeup release. Again I bought it because I wanted to cover up my hyper-pigmentation, due to me not taking very good care of my skin (having a very bad reaction to some makeup sample I had tried for the first time because I have very sensitive skin). Derma blend makeup I have heard are great for covering acne scares, vitilogo  and pigmentation issues. And I wasn’t disappointed when I use it. Its is fragrant free so great for those of us with very very sensitive skin. I love how beautiful it looks and feels on the face. It covers everything. And there are many shades

Lancôme Teint Idole Foundation

This was another discovery due to another YouTuber. This was the foundation a lot of YouTubers were raving about a while back. There are so many shades and it is very buildable. This is one of my go to foundations I tend to use on a daily basis. One of the reasons why I am love with it is that is stays put for hours and hours. And it works very well for oily/combination skin with a flawless finish if set right. It is just an all round great foundation that is buildable too.

Have you used any of these foundations I have recommended??
